As we say goodbye to Courtney Kingston, we reflect on the incredible impact she’s had on the University Honors Program and the many ways she’s touched both students and colleagues alike. Over the course of her time with us, Courtney has become a beloved part of the team, and her departure leaves a big gap in our office.

Mason Hennessy, a sophomore communication and religious studies and theology major, scored a press pass and a one-week pilgrimage to the Synod on Synodality in October. He came back to campus with more than a few warm memories; he came back on fire.


Austin Schlater was training for the military when a nasty back injury introduced him to physical therapy. Now he’s learning how to help others recover from their injuries as a second-year doctoral student in the Department of Physical Therapy at UD.

Trained in partial differential equations, John Kauflin served as his department's mathematical physicist.
